Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Valid Driver's License (+1 years)

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned terminal areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter prohibited activity.
Assist with access control, visitor direction, and traffic flow as assigned while maintaining professional communication with airport operations personnel and public agencies.
