About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Airport Security Officer to support a government airport location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will safeguard clients and the public by monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting travelers and visitors professionally. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, at a pay rate of $25.25 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of airport experience.
Valid driver's license with at least one year of experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing areas; verify credentials and report unauthorized access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations, and communicate observations to airport personnel and emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas.
Identify and report security concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
