About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer at a government aviation location in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. The role is full-time and pays $25.25 per hour. The schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of airport experience.
A valid driver's license with at least 1 year of experience holding it.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents.
Support a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors.
