Airport Agent - Ramp and Customer Service
About The Position
Envoy Air is hiring Airport Agents to provide ramp and customer service at EYW. This entry-level role requires no prior experience and includes paid on-the-job training and development. Agents help passengers begin their trips by providing courteous, efficient check-in and ticketing service, using reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes. They also handle baggage, freight, and mail, and use company vehicles on the tarmac to move bags. The job involves working outside in all weather conditions and lifting luggage throughout the shift. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts may vary and include irregular or extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Have a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license, or otherwise maintain the authority and identification needed to travel for business; some license restrictions may prevent consideration.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
- Use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
- Interact with customers in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Lift customers’ bags onto the belt.
- Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely while supporting on-time departures and arrivals.
- Use company vehicles on the tarmac to transport bags to their destinations.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
