About The Position

Envoy Air, an American Airlines Group Company, is hiring Airport Agents at BIL. This entry-level position combines customer service and ramp duties, with no prior experience required and paid on-the-job training and development. Agents greet passengers and provide check-in and ticketing assistance, use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes, and handle baggage, freight, and mail. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, including on the airport tarmac, in all weather conditions. Shifts may vary and can include irregular or extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The listed pay rate is $16.61 per hour.

Requirements

• Able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license, or otherwise maintain the authority and identification necessary for business travel; some license restrictions may disqualify candidates.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and provide a courteous, efficient, and friendly check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Lift customers’ bags onto the belt and assist them as they depart.
• Load, unload, and safely sort freight, mail, and baggage while supporting on-time departures and arrivals.
• Use company vehicles on the tarmac to transport bags to their destinations.
