Airline Passenger Assist
About The Position
ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Airline Passenger Assistant, also known as a Wheelchair Agent, to fulfill airline passenger service obligations for passengers who require or request wheelchair assistance. The position is customer service-oriented, and tipping is allowed and customary. Agents who provide extraordinary customer service may increase their earning potential by $25–$100 per week. This role may be suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. No experience or degree is required, and on-the-job training is provided. ABM encourages veterans and candidates with military experience to apply.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
- No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
Nice To Haves
- One year of customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers.
- Interact positively with passengers.
- Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes.
- Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds.
- Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
- Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate agents, if necessary.
- Complete thorough incident reports.
