About The Position

Dimerco is hiring an Air Import Clerk in Rosedale, NY. The role supports air import operations in the freight-forwarding and logistics industry, handling shipment documentation, billing, delivery coordination, compliance, customer communication, and recordkeeping. The position requires accuracy, strong customer service, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years of experience in Air Import Operations within freight forwarding or logistics.
Ability to handle operational tasks accurately while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong customer service orientation and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process required import documentation, including shipping documents, arrival notices (ATME), and customs-related paperwork.
Coordinate trucking and final delivery arrangements.
Issue invoices and prepare shipment-related documents.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
Handle shipment billing and ensure complete and accurate shipment file management.
Ensure compliance with transportation and security regulations, including customer shipment-handling requirements.
Communicate with customers, carriers, and overseas offices to support smooth shipment execution.
Provide timely shipment updates to customers and management.
