About The Position

The Aide Non-Medical Care provides courteous, professional customer service by screening people entering the facility, ensuring compliance with facility safety protocols, and offering general assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment.

The position monitors the entry area, helps manage the flow of people, assists with access to wheelchairs or other mobility aids, and directs patients and visitors to appropriate locations. The aide also responds to general questions about facility policies, hours, and information, and promptly reports concerns requiring attention.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in a professional customer-service-oriented environment or public-facing role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer service.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a public-facing role.
• Awareness of safety protocols and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, helping them feel prioritized and safe.
• Monitor the entry area and promptly address congestion or delays to maintain an orderly flow of individuals.
• Help facilitate the availability of wheelchairs or other mobility aids for patients or visitors with limited mobility.
• Guide patients and visitors to appropriate locations and provide directions and information as needed.
• Promptly report concerns requiring attention to the Nursing Supervisor, HR Director, or Employee Health.
• Respond clearly and helpfully to inquiries about facility policies, hours of operation, and general facility information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
