AI Tooling Technical Solutions Consultant, GSRS Security Systems and Technology
About The Position
As an AI Tooling Technical Solutions Consultant for the Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) team, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and integrated solutions for ambiguous issues within Security Operations while maintaining privacy and legal standards. You will bridge frontend user interfaces and backend infrastructure, embedding Google AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies to accelerate automation and improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with end users, stakeholders, leadership, and peers to turn complex requirements into intuitive tools and use metrics to demonstrate performance and return on investment. You will also serve as a technical expert and mentor, promoting software development best practices across peer teams. As part of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS), you will contribute to efforts to keep Googlers safe and secure and manage disruptive events. The team works to anticipate, deter, detect, and respond to risks, integrating safety, security, and resiliency throughout Google. It identifies, evaluates, and monitors enterprise risks that could affect business activities, provides information to business leaders for critical decisions, and collaborates across functions on effective strategies and programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers.
- Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platforms.
- Experience managing and aligning teams across operational, engineering, product, and UX disciplines.
- Experience with front-end web development using Angular, TypeScript, or similar frameworks.
- Experience writing and reviewing production-ready code in a distributed environment.
- Experience developing AI agents through the Google Cloud Agent Development Kit framework.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust full-stack applications, partnering with infrastructure and security teams to integrate new software solutions and tools with legacy systems.
- Deliver tools with supported data integrations for operational workflows and business-impact reporting, collaborating closely with the data team.
- Implement embedded AI and agentic solutions, including focused development, testing, and validation, to improve end-user efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the technical roadmap and strategy to scale and sustain delivered solutions through purpose-fit vendor teams.
- Provide expert technical support for complex use cases while ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Advocate engineering best practices, code reviews, and technical growth across the organization.
