About The Position

As a Technical Solutions Consultant for Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) Applied Data and AI Solutions, you will work with partner teams within Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) to deliver technical solutions that help Google operate more securely and efficiently. You will define development and configuration management processes and drive a portfolio of solutions for GSRS stakeholders. Working with Technical Program Managers to gather requirements and Data Engineers to source data from first-party and third-party physical security systems, you will deliver solutions that automate GSRS business processes. The GSRS team works to anticipate, deter, detect, and respond to risks and disruptive events, integrating safety, security, and resilience across Google. The team identifies, evaluates, and monitors enterprise risks, provides business leaders with information for critical decisions, and collaborates across functions on strategies and programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers.
Experience with Python, Go, Java, or other modern backend languages.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure.
Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on large language models (LLMs).

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
Experience writing and reviewing production-ready code in a distributed environment.
Experience managing applications in Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Google Agent Development Kit Platform.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage applications and AI agents using Google Cloud or production resources in compliance with company security policies and guidelines.
Use AI and machine learning to improve workflow efficiency.
Deploy, debug, and maintain technical solutions throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring high standards for system configuration and issue resolution.
Author technical documentation and participate in collaborative design and code reviews.
Define configuration management standards and steward private data with a strict focus on privacy and security.
