About The Position

Careerminds is seeking an AI Product Engineer to own products end-to-end, utilizing AI as a core component of development. This role is part of a small product strategy team that sets direction, with engineers taking full ownership from discovery to production and metrics. The ideal candidate is already experienced with AI-native development tools like Claude Code and Claude Design, and is looking to further advance their skills in this area. This is a 100% remote/work-from-home position.

Requirements

Proven full-stack ability, comfortable across modern front end (TypeScript/React or equivalent), backend services, and data.
A track record of shipping products end-to-end, ideally with ownership beyond just the code, including scope, tradeoffs, and results.
Demonstrable AI leverage, able to explain how AI tooling has multiplied throughput in past work.
Product judgment, capable of taking an ambiguous problem, deciding on a solution, and defending the decision.
Data fluency, able to define, instrument, and interpret metrics.
Ability to move fast and maintain high-quality systems.
Authorization to work for any US employer.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the careers, hiring, resumes, or marketplaces domain, or other high-traffic consumer products.
Comfort with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, IaC) and modern data tooling.
A public body of work, such as shipped products, open source contributions, writing, or side projects.

Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of features and products across our consumer platform (e.g., Career.io, Resume.io and adjacent surfaces) — you are the product owner, designer, and engineer for your domain.
Develop the UI, the backend services, and the instrumentation for data analysis.
Ship continuously and safely, leveraging AI tooling to accelerate the build process without compromising quality, security, or maintainability.
