About The Position

Landmark is reimagining property management with an AI-native architecture to streamline operations and deliver value to customers and operators. We are seeking an AI Product Engineer to build the workflows and tools that support this vision. This role involves working at the intersection of software, AI, and operations, developing solutions that automate tasks, implement AI features, and improve efficiency. The position offers the opportunity to work with a new platform, utilize operational data, and see immediate impact. The ideal candidate is a generalist who can quickly solve real-world problems with software and shape the transformation of the property management industry through AI.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping production AI features.
Ability to stand up a backend service, build a frontend application, and design an agentic workflow, and move comfortably between these tasks.
Experience working directly with operators and customers.
Ability to turn ambiguous operational problems into shipped software and prioritize work that moves the business forward.

Responsibilities

Turn operational problems into working software quickly, such as routing work orders, coordinating vendors, answering resident inquiries, and managing rent collection.
Build AI into the core of operations, supporting residents and triaging maintenance issues, with a focus on evaluation, observability, and human feedback loops.
Embed with operators to shadow real workflows, identify bottlenecks, and ship high-leverage solutions.
Own the entire product lifecycle from idea to production, including code, data, deployment, and results.
Stay current with AI advancements, test new technologies quickly, and integrate those that enhance efficiency.
Improve the methods of building products, not just the products themselves.
