As an AI Engineer (m/f/d), you will help shape how banks and financial service providers work with GenAI – from the initial idea to the productive system. You will bring new technologies into an environment that is open to change and expects courage for new paths. To further strengthen our team at the Berlin location, we are looking for an AI Engineer (m/f/d) - Machine Learning & GenAI starting immediately.

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a comparable field of study
• Extensive practical experience with Python under Linux as well as familiarity with common development tools such as Git and AI-supported coding
• Experience in the implementation of production-ready Machine Learning and especially GenAI solutions (Ollama, LangChain, open and closed models) as well as in agentic workflows (MCP, RAG)
• Experience in testing and optimizing AI systems for reliable process automation
• Motivation, self-responsibility, and enjoyment in familiarizing yourself with new topics

Nice To Haves

• In-depth knowledge of Deep Learning and NLP, NER, Data Augmentation techniques, and Finetuning
• Experience with use cases in document processing and/or the financial services sector
• Further skills for the end-to-end integration of AI components, for example, frontend skills, interface integration, or experience with Java

Responsibilities

• You develop, test, and optimize new AI components for the automation of financial service processes.
• You program in Python and work on data extraction, document, and text processing with Machine Learning and especially GenAI.
• You develop agentic approaches for processing documents in the credit application process.
• You test existing AI systems, analyze their performance, and continuously optimize them.
• You implement microservices and REST interfaces and, depending on your profile, support the integration of AI components into existing software applications.
