About The Position
Conversion is the agentic marketing automation platform for modern enterprises such as Plaid, ClickHouse, Webflow, and Productboard. Our platform lets growth teams run their entire go-to-market motion in one place, from acquisition through retention, with AI agents doing the work that legacy tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot can't. We've raised $28M+ from Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital. The team is based in San Francisco and includes engineers, designers, and operators from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft. Neil, co-founder and CEO at Conversion, leads the enterprise sales motion and is looking for a Founding Agent Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will partner with Enterprise Account Executives to win enterprise deals. A $100k+ deal does not close on a compelling pitch alone. Customers need to see how Conversion will solve their challenges, work with their data, and fit into their existing systems. Solutions Engineers make that case through technical expertise and working demonstrations.
Requirements
- Have experience in GTM or sales at a B2B organization
- Have studied or worked in software engineering, but found that interfacing with customers is much more exciting than writing code all day
Responsibilities
- Working alongside Enterprise AEs to understand customer goals, uncover technical requirements, and demonstrate how Conversion can address their most valuable use cases.
- Building tailored demos and executing proof-of-concepts that bring the customer’s workflows to life, demonstrate measurable value, and give technical buyers confidence in Conversion.
- Partnering with customer data, IT, and security teams to design how Conversion would fit into their existing systems, addressing integrations, data flows, security requirements, and technical feasibility.
- Owning the technical side of the sales process, resolving technical objections, navigating security reviews, and aligning stakeholders on a clear path to deployment with Deployment Strategists and Forward Deployed Engineers.
