About The Position
The Ben Charney Agency is looking for a motivated Agent in Training to join our growing Grand Rapids team. If you’re driven, coachable, and enjoy working with people, we’ll provide the training and support to help you build a successful insurance career. No insurance experience is required.
Requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to be coached
- Self-motivation, dependability, and consistent follow-up
- A current Property and Casualty Insurance License or willingness to obtain one
Nice To Haves
- Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with new and existing clients
- Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, and outbound calls
- Prepare quotes and recommend insurance solutions based on each client’s needs
- Educate customers on Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty Insurance
- Follow up consistently and work toward individual and agency sales goals
