About The Position

The Bingo Agent sells bingo cards to customers and accurately maintains their bank. The role assists customers in learning and playing bingo by providing information and instructions, performs caller duties, verifies winning cards, and distributes winnings. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Company standards, policies, and procedures. The position also involves observing players and traveling through customer seating aisles to collect winning cards, balance, and carry bingo boards. Duties may be modified or supplemented to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Six months of bingo experience.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods during a shift.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in written and verbal form.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers across departments and levels of management.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to maneuver to all areas of the Bingo Room.
• Ability to work calmly and professionally in stressful situations.
• Ability to access all areas of the facility and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects; withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing at least 50 pounds without restriction.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to hot or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and noisy environment.
• Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• Money-handling and documentation skills preferred.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets to customers.
• Count bingo cards and maintain the bank accurately.
• Perform caller duties, including calling numbers over the microphone, providing instructions, and announcing the amount of money to be won.
• Reach for bingo balls while using machines and retrieve dropped bingo balls.
• Verify winning cards and distribute winnings in accordance with established cash-handling procedures.
• Assist customers in learning and playing bingo by providing information and instructions.
• Travel through customer seating aisles to collect winning cards, balance, and carry bingo boards.
• Observe players during the game.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
