About The Position
Spring Education Group is a national network of independent schools serving students from preschool through 12th grade. The After School Teacher supports daily school operations and provides a positive, structured environment for students outside regular instructional hours. The role includes supervising indoor and outdoor play, leading activities, assisting with snacks, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming setting where students can learn, play, and build relationships. The teacher plans and facilitates arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities, collaborates with school teams to support a consistent student experience, and ensures students’ safe supervision and care during before- and after-school program hours. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
- Dependable, positive, and committed to supporting student well-being.
- Strong communication and supervision skills.
- Ability to perform the essential duties, with reasonable accommodations where applicable; the position involves frequently walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, rising from the floor, twisting, listening, reading, writing, and speaking English; often carrying, lifting, and using repetitive or fine hand movements; occasionally pushing, pulling, or bending; and regularly hearing and using clear vision with or without correction.
