Program Leaders work with an assigned group of students in an in-person setting at districts and school sites throughout California. The student-to-staff ratio is contingent upon CDC guidelines. They serve as positive adult role models, coaches, and mentors, supporting students’ growth and development and providing a safe, nurturing environment. The role calls for leadership, communication, patience, flexibility, and commitment to help students succeed. Program Leaders provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity using program-provided curriculum and materials. They work directly with a group of 20–25 students in a classroom setting, help manage behavior, assist with snack preparation and cleanup, maintain an orderly site, and support student safety through attendance and sign-in/sign-out procedures. This is a part-time, in-person position. The listed pay rate is $24 per hour.
