About The Position
AlphaBEST is hiring an After School Program Leader at Mitchell Elementary in Canyon Country, California. In this role, you will help create an engaging, caring environment where children can explore, learn, and build a sense of belonging. You will lead students through activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas, while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and community. The role also involves working collaboratively with peers and fostering positive relationships among staff, children, and parents. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, starting at 2:45 PM, and Wednesday, starting at 12:55 PM. The job pays $19.00 per hour. Part-time benefits are available, including health benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years old.
- Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
