About The Position

AlphaBEST is hiring a part-time After School Program Leader in Fairfield, California. The Program Leader helps create an engaging, welcoming environment where children can explore, learn, and build a sense of community and belonging. The role involves leading students through activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas while encouraging creativity and curiosity. The position is located at one of the following schools: Cordelia, David Weir, Dover, Nelda Mundy, Suisun Valley, TK Fairview, TK Sullivan, or Tolenas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, after school, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour, with a $250 hiring bonus.

Requirements

• Must have completed 48 college credits or passed a paraeducator exam.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Candidates who do not meet the educational requirement must complete the ParaPro testing process before being hired or starting in the position.
