After School Group Leader / Early Learning Education Professional
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education is hiring a part-time After School Group Leader for its Lamar CISD program in Richmond, Texas. The program provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment activities designed to inspire students and help them learn beyond the school day in a fun and safe environment. The Group Leader guides students through daily activities and helps create a supportive, inclusive setting where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:55 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with no weekends. Pay is $15.00 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Must successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
- Make child safety the top priority and follow procedures.
- Keep the space clean and organized.
- Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
- Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
