After School Group Leader / Early Learning Education Professional
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education is seeking an After School Group Leader to support its extended-day program at Spring Branch ISD. The role helps create meaningful after-school experiences in a fun, safe, structured environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive. The Group Leader guides students through daily curriculum activities, prioritizes child safety, maintains an organized space, and fosters an inclusive, supportive environment. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at $15.00 per hour. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus but are not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Must successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.
- Enjoy working with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
- Take child safety seriously and follow procedures closely.
- Be flexible, reliable, and ready to help where needed.
