After School Group Leader / Early Learning Education Professional
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to engage students in a fun and safe environment. The After School Group Leader helps create meaningful after-school experiences where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The role leads students through daily curriculum activities, prioritizes child safety, maintains a clean and organized space, and supports an inclusive environment. The Group Leader builds relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff. The position is part-time and pays $15.00 per hour, with hours from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Must successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
- Make child safety the top priority and follow procedures closely.
- Keep the space clean and organized.
- Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
- Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
