•$50 - $100•Onsite

About The Position

Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide enrichment experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students. The company seeks instructors with expertise in education, technology, STEM, arts, athletics, academics, skilled professions, and other specialty areas for current and upcoming independent contractor instructional assignments. Traditional classroom teaching experience is not required for every program; relevant experience may come from teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, professional practice, camps, youth organizations, private instruction, or similar settings. Opportunities vary throughout the year and depend on school-partner needs, instructor qualifications and subject expertise, location, and scheduling availability. Assignments are in person at partner schools and community-based locations, are typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, and generally run approximately 8–10 weeks. Start dates are rolling based on partner schedules. Assignment-specific details—including grade level, enrollment, schedule, duration, curriculum, expectations, resources, and compensation—vary and are communicated during the assignment process. Instructors deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction and prepare sessions using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or appropriate instructor-developed activities. They foster a positive, respectful, inclusive, and appropriately supervised learning environment; encourage participation and adapt instruction to students with different ages, abilities, and experience levels; maintain classroom management and student supervision; communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives; follow school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols; and arrive prepared and on time for accepted sessions. Qualified applicants generally bring relevant subject knowledge, experience working with young people, and strong professional skills. Qualifications may include at least 60 completed college credits or equivalent relevant professional experience when appropriate for the assignment, experience teaching or leading youth programs, strong communication and group-management skills, dependable and organized work habits, and relevant subject knowledge, training, education, or professional experience. Applicants from a wide variety of educational and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Compensation is established individually for each assignment. Most instructional assignments pay $50–$65 per instructional hour, though rates may differ based on subject area, specialized expertise, qualifications and experience, location, scheduling requirements, program complexity, and school-partner needs. The applicable rate is communicated before assignment acceptance. This posting is for potential independent contractor assignments and does not guarantee placement, offers, minimum hours, future assignments, or continued engagement. Selection may involve additional screening, documentation, onboarding, background review or clearance procedures where applicable, school-partner requirements or approval, scheduling compatibility, and final written assignment confirmation.
