About The Position

Tinuiti is hiring a Senior Strategist on its Lead Generation Affiliate team to own performance for lead-generation and pay-per-call programs in verticals such as home services, fintech, and education. The role also serves as a lead-gen subject-matter expert and trainer, helping strategists and specialists manage lead-generation accounts. The position is fully remote and may require up to 30% travel, which can fluctuate with client needs. The strategist develops client strategies and tactical plans, manages day-to-day program optimization, publisher relationships, reporting, and client communications, and works with client CRM, call-center, and sales teams to improve lead quality and downstream outcomes. The role oversees lead-quality, compliance, call tracking, lead validation, affiliate recruitment and activation, payout structures, and performance analysis. It also includes training and mentoring team members, developing playbooks and standard operating procedures, and representing Tinuiti at conferences and events as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of affiliate or performance marketing experience, including 5+ years focused on lead generation.
  • Hands-on experience managing pay-per-call and lead-generation programs, including call tracking, lead form submissions, and lead validation.
  • Experience in lead-generation-heavy verticals such as home services, fintech or financial services, and education.
  • Working knowledge of lead-generation compliance, including TCPA, consent capture, and vertical-specific rules, as well as fraud and quality management.
  • Strong analytical skills, including funnel and unit economics analysis.
  • Advanced Excel or Sheets and PowerPoint or Slides skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with affiliate networks and platforms such as Impact, Rakuten, and CJ.
  • Experience with lead-generation and call platforms such as Ringba, Invoca, Retreaver, and LeadsPedia/CAKE-type systems.
  • Experience in insurance, legal, health, or solar verticals.
  • Experience training or mentoring teammates, or building enablement content.
  • Affiliate recruitment, relationship-building, budget management, and daily program operations experience.
  • Experience with CRM or offline-conversion feedback and quality scoring.
  • Working knowledge of HTML.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a regular point of contact for clients’ strategic and account questions; participate in weekly client calls, oversee account reporting, and handle follow-up questions and communications.
  • Develop effective strategies and tactical plans to achieve client goals.
  • Own strategy and day-to-day optimization for lead-generation programs, including form fills, quotes, applications, and enrollments, and pay-per-call programs; drive performance toward CPL, CPA, cost-per-qualified-lead, and lead-to-sale or close-rate goals.
  • Build and manage publisher mixes across comparison and review sites, content and SEO publishers, call centers and call-generation partners, lead aggregators, native and search arbitrage partners, and email and coupon partners.
  • Manage call-tracking and lead-validation setups, including call-duration thresholds, buyer and payout structures, IVR and call-quality scoring, lead scrubbing, deduplication, and disposition feedback loops.
  • Lead lead-quality and compliance oversight, including fraud detection, TCPA, consent capture, disclosures, and vertical-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate and structure payouts using CPL, CPA, CPC/CPQL, per-call, tiered, and revenue-share models, and set bid and payout strategies by vertical.
  • Partner with clients’ CRM, call-center, and sales teams to improve lead quality and optimize downstream outcomes, not just lead volume.
  • Analyze program data to identify opportunities and issues.
  • Lead affiliate program recruitment, activation, optimization, compliance, creative assets, and reporting tasks.
  • Mediate partnerships and placements with new affiliates.
  • Maintain communication and optimize relationships with a diverse set of credible publishers.
  • Represent Tinuiti at conferences and events as needed.
  • Look for ways to improve current processes or introduce innovative approaches that support client success.
  • Train and mentor strategists and specialists in lead-generation account management, including building playbooks and SOPs, running workshops and office hours, and reviewing accounts.
  • Mentor junior team members and delegate effectively.
