About The Position

The Advanced Services Engineer supports Oracle Health Patient Accounting and helps hospital users maintain effective patient accounting operations. The role provides proactive and reactive application support, investigates application and workflow issues, performs routine configuration and update activities, and helps improve workflows and technical documentation. The engineer works with hospital users, Oracle Support, Product Development, and senior technical staff, and communicates recommendations and application best practices to customers.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience supporting or working with Oracle Health Patient Accounting, including familiarity with application functionality, configuration, and patient accounting workflows.
• Understanding of hospital patient accounting and revenue cycle processes and how technology supports daily operations.
• Ability to gather information, investigate application issues, document findings, and escalate complex problems appropriately.
• Ability to work effectively with hospital users, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand needs and explain solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive support for Oracle Health Patient Accounting and help hospital users resolve issues.
• Investigate application and workflow incidents, document findings and solutions, and coordinate with Oracle Support, Product Development, and senior technical staff when needed.
• Perform routine application configuration, software updates, upgrades, and validation activities, seeking guidance when necessary.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce repetitive work, and maintain clear technical documentation and customer deliverables.
• Participate in customer meetings, communicate technical recommendations, and guide hospital users on application features, changes, and best practices.
