Advanced Services Engineer -Patient Accounting
About The Position
The Advanced Services Engineer supports Oracle Health Patient Accounting applications for hospital users. The role provides proactive and reactive application support to help maintain effective patient accounting operations, investigates application and workflow issues, documents findings and solutions, and coordinates complex problems with Oracle Support, Product Development, and senior technical staff. The engineer performs routine application configuration, software updates, upgrades, and validation activities, seeking guidance when needed. The role also identifies opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce repetitive work, maintains technical documentation and customer deliverables, participates in customer meetings, communicates technical recommendations, and guides hospital users on application features, changes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting or working with Oracle Health Patient Accounting, including familiarity with application functionality, configuration, and patient accounting workflows.
- Understanding of hospital patient accounting and revenue cycle processes and how technology supports daily operations.
- Ability to gather information, investigate application issues, document findings, and appropriately escalate complex problems.
- Ability to work effectively with hospital users, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand needs and explain solutions clearly.
