Advanced Provider - Emergency Medicine
About The Position
Vituity is seeking emergency medicine advanced providers—physician assistants and nurse practitioners—to join the Emergency Department care team at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois. Advanced Providers play a critical role in the mission to improve lives and are valued members of the full care team. Previous emergency department experience is preferred, and new graduates are welcome to apply. OSF St. Joseph Medical Center is a medium-sized community hospital with a strong team culture and resources. It is a Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center, with 180 beds and an annual volume of 33,000. The Emergency Department has 20 beds plus 8 overflow beds, a 22% admit rate, and moderate acuity. Neonatology, hospice, and case management/social work are available on site; life flight is five minutes away at the airport. The company has opportunities at 900 practices nationwide and serves more than 14.5 million patients annually. The listed salary range is $65–$85 per hour. Requirements
- Current national certification.
- DEA registration.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.

- Previous emergency department experience is preferred.
- Current Illinois state license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine care as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center.
