About The Position
Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio (GCSA), part of GI Alliance, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Hamilton Wolfe/Medical Center group in San Antonio, Texas. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The position is based at 5223 Hamilton Wolfe, has no satellite locations, and is outpatient only. The Nurse Practitioner supports one physician and conducts patient follow-up visits, averaging 16 patients per day. The role provides scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting.
Requirements
- State-licensed Nurse Practitioner.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Complete patient histories and physicals.
- Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests.
- Counsel patients and families on health and disease.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing at assigned medical facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
