About The Position

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing neurology program in Chicago, Illinois. This employed, physician-led role combines inpatient and outpatient care, with opportunities to work collaboratively with neurologists and care for patients with a broad range of acute and chronic neurological conditions. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
Current Illinois APRN/RN license or Illinois Physician Assistant license.
National certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Neurology experience is preferred.
Candidates with strong Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or related experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient evaluations and neurological assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Provide inpatient consultations, follow-up care, and discharge support.
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging, laboratory testing, and EEGs.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
