About The Position

Village Heart & Vein is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient cardiovascular care in Lady Lake, Florida. The APP will work alongside experienced cardiologists and an established APP team in a physician-led practice, with clinical autonomy and collaborative support. This is a full-time, fully outpatient cardiology position with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call, weekend coverage, or major holidays. The role offers broad exposure to general cardiology in an established, growing practice. Requirements

Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Active Florida license or ability to obtain one before starting.
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous cardiology experience as an APP preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct cardiovascular evaluations and routine follow-up visits.
Manage conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation.
Review EKGs, cardiac testing, imaging, and laboratory findings.
Prescribe and adjust medications while monitoring treatment response.
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and ongoing care.
Counsel patients on medications, cardiovascular conditions, and heart-healthy lifestyle changes.
