About The Position
Advanced Urology Institute, powered by Urology Alliance, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both hospital and clinic settings. This role involves completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering appropriate laboratory tests, and counseling patients and families on health and disease. The APP will also participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements for credentialing at assigned medical facilities and perform other duties as assigned. The practice offers a Monday through Friday clinic schedule with remote, phone-only call, a collegial environment with opportunities for teaching and professional growth, and a guaranteed annual salary with bonus opportunities based on productivity.
Requirements
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Urology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
- Complete patient histories and physicals
- Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
- Counsel the patient and family on health and disease
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
- Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
