About The Position

This advanced course in auditing examines the role of the auditing profession and audit in society. The general assurance framework and its concepts are addressed. Audit and assurance concepts are applied to a range of specific engagement types. Current issues facing the profession are explored.

Requirements

  • MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in accounting.
  • Recent professional experience in advanced auditing.
  • Familiarity with CAS and IAS.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in the area of auditing.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, or CMA).
  • Specialist designation in auditing (CIA, CA-IFA, etc.).
  • Competence in second language: Passive.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Advanced Auditing course (ADM4341A) during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Deliver instruction in person.
  • Explore current issues facing the auditing profession.
