About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Auditing Theory (ADM3349A) during the Fall 2026 semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course covers the definition of auditing, management assertions, audit objectives, evidence, materiality and risk, internal control, audit planning, and reporting as applied to financial statements. It also addresses professional ethics, legal liability, and the responsibilities of auditors to society. The teaching method will be delivered in person, but may change due to health measures or other reasons. Requirements

  • MBA or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in auditing theory.
  • Recent professional experience in auditing.
  • Familiarity with CAS and IAS.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in auditing.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, or CMA).
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. in the area of auditing theory.
  • Teaching experience in the area of auditing.

Responsibilities
