About The Position
The Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nursing at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor for the Fall 2026 semester to teach NSG 2317 Health Assessment. This course focuses on the principles and application of holistic health assessment, with an emphasis on norms and risk factors for children, adults, and seniors. Clinical practice will be conducted in a simulation environment. The position is limited to current students and is for a regular posting type.
Requirements
- M.Sc.N.
- Current registration as RN or NP in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach principles and application of holistic health assessment.
- Emphasize norms and risk factors for children, adult and seniors.
- Facilitate clinical practice in a simulation environment.
