About The Position

MinuteClinic is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) for a clinic-based float role based in Brooklyn, Connecticut, with regularly scheduled support at the Norwich, Connecticut clinic. Full-time is preferred, though part-time candidates may be considered based on scheduling needs and availability. The position focuses on high-quality in-person patient care; virtual visits may be conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Care also includes diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, injury and illness treatment, wellness services, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, and coordination with other healthcare professionals. The provider completes clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, routine examinations, and timely appointment management. The role offers clinical and organizational support, evidence-based guidelines, assessment and treatment-planning tools, training, and opportunities for professional development. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift. The position requires physical presence at the assigned clinic and may include virtual care delivered from the clinic.
