About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring an advanced practice provider for a full-time, home-clinic role supporting the Augusta, Georgia market. This clinic-based position focuses on high-quality in-person care; virtual visits may be conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and doing so will not delay or interfere with in-person care. The provider delivers evidence-based primary and family care, manages acute and chronic conditions, supports preventive health and wellness, and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals. The position also includes clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. Every-other-weekend availability is required. Additional Georgia licensure is preferred, and weekend and on-call shift differentials are available. MinuteClinic describes its practice as offering provider autonomy alongside clinical and organizational support, evidence-based guidelines, training, and clinical resources. Providers may deliver in-person and virtual care based on clinic patient volume. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift, with no work taken home. The company notes career growth and professional development opportunities and its ANCC Pathway to Excellence designation. Applicants may qualify as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate. NP candidates need an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner master’s degree, current AANP or ANCC board certification, and an active, unrestricted state APRN license. PA candidates need a Master of Science in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies, or a health-related master’s degree plus a Bachelor of Science in PA Studies, current NCCPA certification, and an active, unrestricted state PA license or eligibility to obtain one upon hire. Both provider types need active BLS certification, the ability to pass a respirator fit test, physical presence at the assigned clinic, and the ability to obtain and maintain multistate licensure based on business needs. DOT certification must be completed within 30 days of employment.
