CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) for a full-time, clinic-based role supporting the Lexington, South Carolina clinic. The position offers 30–40 hours per week and requires availability every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The role focuses on high-quality in-person care; virtual visits may be provided from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Multi-state licensure is preferred and must be obtainable and maintainable based on business needs. MinuteClinic providers deliver affordable, accessible, comprehensive care with clinical support, collaborative resources, and a “one store, one team” approach. Providers are supported by evidence-based guidelines, assessment and treatment-planning tools, training, and opportunities for career growth and professional development. Charting and follow-up are completed during scheduled shifts, with no work taken home. The role includes primary and family care, acute and chronic condition management, preventive services, diagnostic testing, counseling, and care coordination. Providers also complete clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, routine examinations, and appointment management. NP qualifications include a master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, current AANP or ANCC board certification, and an active, unrestricted state APRN license. One year of NP experience is preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered. PA qualifications include a Master of Science in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies, or a health-related master’s degree plus a Bachelor of Science in PA Studies; current NCCPA certification; and an active, unrestricted state PA license or eligibility to obtain one upon hire. Two years of PA experience are required. Both NPs and PAs must have active Basic Life Support certification, complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment, be able to pass a respirator fit test, and be physically present at the assigned clinic. They must be able to provide holistic, evidence-based care, including counseling on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices. Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs for NPs. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, as well as the ability to perform Basic Life Support. The pay range is $37.66–$81.11 per hour or the applicable base annual full-time salary for the job grade. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. The role may also be eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. The full-time position is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility. The anticipated application window closes January 29, 2027.
