About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring a full-time, clinic-based float provider to support clinics within 50 miles of Columbia, South Carolina. The role delivers high-quality, evidence-based primary and family care, including in-person visits and virtual care from the clinic when patient volume allows and virtual visits do not interfere with in-person care. Providers have clinical and organizational support, access to clinical resources and evidence-based tools, and autonomy to manage their practice. Charting and follow-up are completed during scheduled shifts, with no work taken home. The position includes clinic operations and patient care coordination and may require multi-state licensure based on business needs. The role is open to qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates. NP applicants need a master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, current national board certification, and an active, unrestricted APRN license. One year of NP experience is preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered. PA applicants need the specified PA education, current NCCPA certification, an active unrestricted state PA license or eligibility to obtain one upon hire, and two years of PA experience. The position requires physical presence at the assigned clinic, active BLS certification, the ability to pass a respirator fit test, and completion of the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment. The work involves prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, as well as the ability to perform Basic Life Support. Pay is listed as $37.66–$81.11, with potential eligibility for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
