About The Position
Sevita is hiring a full-time, onsite Adult Day Health Caregiver for a day-shift role. The caregiver supports individuals in achieving personal and developmental goals and helps them participate in community activities and recreation. The role involves building trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend, and assisting with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings. The employer provides paid training, and no prior experience is required. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold a valid driver's license for at least one year without restrictions.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Successfully clear background checks.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, including goals related to budgeting and nutrition.
- Help individuals participate in community activities and recreation.
- Build trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
- Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
- Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and attend favorite events.
