About The Position
Sevita is hiring a full-time, onsite Caregiver for its Adult Day Program on the day shift. The role offers a starting pay of $17 per hour and paid training; no prior experience is required. Caregivers support individuals as they work toward personal and developmental goals, build trusting relationships, assist with daily living activities, and help individuals participate in their communities.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license held for at least one year without restrictions.
- Clean driving record.
- Personal vehicle for on-the-job use with valid insurance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Successful clearance of background checks.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, including goals related to budgeting, nutrition, community activities, and recreation.
- Build trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
- Take initiative and contribute ideas and dedication to the role.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
- Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and attend events they enjoy.
