Caregiver - Enrichment Partner Adult Day Program
About The Position
The Enrichment Partner (Caregiver) supports members of an Adult Day Program by helping them participate in meaningful enrichment activities and assisting with personal care and daily living needs. The role involves building positive, respectful relationships with members and teammates and helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and structured environment. Enrichment Partners also provide coverage support based on member ratio needs. Available schedules are Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m.–2:15 p.m. in Surprise, Arizona, or 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. in Peoria, Arizona. The programs are not open evenings or weekends. Pay is $15.65 per hour and is non-negotiable due to contract rates. Assistance with the costs of required clearances and certifications is provided.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to the Peoria, Sun City, or Surprise area.
- High school diploma or GED and 1 to 2 years of caregiving or adult day program experience; 3 years of caregiving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED.
- Current, unexpired Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- CPR certification.
- TB clearance.
- First Aid certification.
- Food Handlers Card.
- Article 9 certification.
Nice To Haves
- Dementia experience preferred.
