About The Position

The Adoption Stabilization & Preservation Specialist works with children and families to help children safely thrive in their home environments. The specialist teaches skills such as emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy family communication. Working with families, the specialist helps create a safe, stable, flexible, and comfortable environment for all family members.

TFI Family Services is seeking a compassionate person who is eager to learn and wants to help families build on their strengths, develop healthy long-lasting relationships, and connect with community resources. The role calls for a strong desire to support and advocate for children and families. Training and support are provided to candidates who are committed to making a difference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Compassion and eagerness to learn.
• Desire to help children and families grow, learn, and build healthy relationships and responses to one another.
• Strong desire to advocate for children and their families.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the application process.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in adoption services, adoption preservation, or related family support work.
