About The Position

The Adoption Stabilization & Preservation Specialist works with children and families to help children safely thrive in their home environments. The specialist teaches skills including emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy family communication, and partners with families to create a safe, stable, flexible, and comfortable environment for all family members. The role also involves helping families build on their strengths and connecting them with community resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Compassion and eagerness to learn.
• Desire to help children and families grow, learn, and build healthy relationships.
• Strong desire to advocate for children and their families.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the application process.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in adoption services, adoption preservation, or related family support work.
