About The Position

The Adoption Stabilization & Preservation Specialist works with children and families to help children safely thrive in their home environments. The specialist teaches skills such as emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy family communication. The specialist works with families to create a safe, stable, flexible, and comfortable environment for all family members, and helps connect families with community resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Compassion and eagerness to learn.
• Desire to help families build on their strengths and develop healthy, long-lasting relationships.
• Desire to help children and families grow, learn, and build healthy relationships and responses to one another.
• Strong desire to advocate for children and families.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the application process.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in adoption services, adoption preservation, or related family support work.
