Administrator in Training (AIT)

Champion Care•Kenosha, WI

About The Position

Champion Care is seeking ambitious business operators, general managers, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders for its Administrator in Training (AIT) Executive Leadership Development Program. The position develops the financial, people-leadership, operational, and healthcare expertise needed to lead an individual skilled nursing facility. The training territory covers Champion Care facilities serving Kenosha and Burlington, including Sheridan, Waters Edge, and Burlington. This is a multi-facility field development position requiring regular travel across those locations, rather than a single-site desk job. After licensure, candidates must be willing to relocate anywhere in Wisconsin to be considered for an available permanent Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) opportunity. The AIT salary is $70,000 annually. Permanent NHA opportunities generally start at $100,000+ annually, depending on location, facility size, and responsibilities. Advancement requires successful training, licensure, selection, and an available opportunity; no particular placement or compensation level is guaranteed. Licensed NHAs who lead a skilled nursing facility may be eligible for Champion Care’s profit-sharing program, subject to its terms; AIT participants are not eligible. Applicants must qualify for the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services Nursing Home Administrator licensure pathway, including applicable education and supervised experience requirements. The education preferences in the posting do not replace state licensing requirements. Champion Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
