About The Position

Champion Care is hiring an Administrator in Training (AIT) for its Executive Leadership Development Program. The position applies business judgment, people leadership, and operational expertise to facility operations while training alongside experienced Nursing Home Administrators and operational leaders. The training territory covers Champion Care facilities serving Montgomery, Selma, Phenix City, and Butler, including Rivertown, Bellway, Bridgeway, and Timberland. This is a multi-facility field development position involving regular travel across central and western Alabama; overnight travel may be necessary. After obtaining licensure, candidates must be willing to relocate anywhere in Alabama to be considered for an available permanent Nursing Home Administrator opportunity. Training covers financial and business operations, labor and workforce management, executive leadership, skilled nursing facility operations, resident experience, quality assurance, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, admissions, census, occupancy, referral development, and business improvement. The AIT salary is $70,000 annually. Permanent Nursing Home Administrator opportunities generally start at $100,000 or more, depending on location, facility size, and responsibilities, but advancement and placement are not guaranteed. Licensed NHAs leading a facility may qualify for a profit-sharing program under applicable terms; AIT participants are not eligible. Applicants must be eligible for the Alabama Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators-approved training and licensure pathway. The bachelor's and graduate degrees mentioned in the posting are preferences and do not replace state licensing requirements. Champion Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
