Administrator II-Logistics (Shipping)
About The Position
Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a candidate with proven Shipping and Receiving experience and a background in material handling for the Administrator II-Logistics (Shipping) role. This position will support both domestic and international shipments, ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely preparation, movement, and dispatch of materials and finished goods. The role is key to daily warehouse operations, focusing on proper order picking, packing, labeling, and shipping in alignment with company and customer expectations. Requirements
- 2-3 years strong shipping and logistics experience
- Shipping both international and domestic.
- Creating airway bills in FedEx, UPS and DHL systems.
- Understanding 3 party carriers eg: KWE, Morrison etc
- Understanding of Invoices, HTS/ECCN numbers, EEI filing
- Operation of a forklift
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
- Customer service oriented
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Operate warehouse equipment.
- Lift, move, sort and store objects.
- Operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software.
- Work independently with little direction.
- Observe health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Participate in daily warehouse activities, including shipments to customers, vendors and other MCHP sites, both domestic and international.
- Learn the ERP systems that are used in the warehouse to include BaaN, AX2012 and the SA tool.
- Using the Ace government system, for filing shipments over $2500 in value.
- Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Willing to work overtime, when required.
