About The Position

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an Administrator II-Logistics (Shipping) to join their team. This role supports domestic and international shipments, managing the safe, accurate, and timely preparation, movement, and dispatch of materials and finished goods. The position is key to daily warehouse operations, ensuring orders are properly picked, packed, labeled, and shipped according to company and customer expectations. Requirements

2-3 years strong shipping and logistics experience
Shipping both international and domestic.
Creating airway bills in FedEx, UPS and DHL systems.
Understanding 3 party carriers eg: KWE, Morrison etc
Understanding of Invoices, HTS/ECCN numbers, EEI filing
Operation of a forklift
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
Customer service oriented
High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Operate warehouse equipment.
Lift, move, sort and store objects.
Operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software.
Work independently with little direction.
Observe health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily warehouse activities, including shipments to customers, vendors and other MCHP sites, both domestic and international.
Learn the ERP systems that are used in the warehouse to include BaaN, AX2012 and the SA tool.
Using the Ace government system, for filing shipments over $2500 in value.
Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular attendance.
Willing to work overtime, when required.
