Responsibilities

  • Serve as SA Administrator, assisting Requestors with system navigation, issue resolution, and locating parts and equipment within the SA system.
  • Set up MCHP parts, Demonstration Units and equipment in the SA system, including requesting classification information for items not yet classified by Global Trade Compliance (GTC) and coordinating cost requests with US Costing for MCHP parts.
  • For non‑MCHP parts and equipment, coordinate with requestors to obtain required compliance data and costing information prior to SA system setup.
  • Research and resolve missing or unavailable part information when data cannot be found in MCHP systems.
  • Assign Schedule B classifications to parts and equipment once classification is completed by Global Trade Compliance (GTC).
  • Maintain and update part and item records in the Shipping Authorization (SA) system as changes are required.
  • Manage End Use Certificate (EUC) requests by issuing forms, reviewing completed documentation, filing supplier EUCs, and forwarding standard and sample EUCs to GTC.
  • Conduct Restricted Party Screening to support shipment releases for SA and Baan transactions, as well as visitor clearances for the Chandler site.
  • Support GTC as requested by providing information required for item setup, shipment clearance, and compliance-related inquiries.
